This is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. You can see, we do see a little bit of the cross tube here, but it's really not taking away from the vehicle. However, if you're going with the hitch that's going to be easier to install, you're definitely going to want to go with the Draw-Tite and there's a couple of reasons for this.Number one, if we take a look at these side plates here on our trailer hitch, you can see there's going to be an extra bend in our Draw-Tite option. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Infiniti Q50- Video

Connor: Hey guys, how's it going Connor here today at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at the CURT trailer hitch receiver here for our 2015 Infiniti Q50.So this is what our CURT trailer hitch looks installed. It's going to be an excellent option here for our Q50. It's going to allow us to tow a trailer if we want to go camping, or it's going to allow us to carry some bikes or some extra cargo, if we need to free up space inside the vehicle, or we want to go hit the trails.So this hitch has a Class 1 rating, which is going to provide us with a one and a quarter inch receiver tube opening. Now the hitch has a 2000 pound gross trailer weight rating, which is going to be how much we can pull on our fully-loaded trailer. It also has a 200 pound tongue weight rating, which is going to be the downward force here on the receiver tube opening.Please keep in mind, although our trailer hitch does have a 2000 pound gross trailer weight rating, we need to check with the vehicle's owner's manual to ensure A, that the vehicle can actually tow a trailer, and B, that the capacity exceeds that of the hitch. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2010 Infiniti QX56.Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. Now the cross tube is going to sit below the bumper, right here in the center, but on the sides it is going to be hidden, so it has a pretty nice clean factory look to it.Now it is going to be a class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that 2" x 2" receiver tube opening and have the widest variety of accessories that we can mount up. Obviously with a trailer hitch we can put a ball mount in there if we want to tow a trailer, but if we need to make some room on the inside we could put a cargo carrier back here, move that gear to the outside or possibly even just take some friends with us, put a bike rack carrier in here and hit the trails.Regardless of how we're going to be using our hitch though all of our accessories are going to mount through the hitch pin hole here on the side. Now the hitch is going to accept a standard 5/8" pin and clip. Now these are not going to come with the hitch but you can find them here at eTrailer.com, along with some locking devices to keep your accessories secure and anti-rattle devices to cut down on that rattle, and shake, coming from the receiver tube when we're driving down the road.If you ar going to be towing a trailer obviously you need a spot to hook your safety chains. more

On the bottom we have our safety chain loops in the plate style, with a fairly large opening that should accommodate most safety chains. It features a 600 pound tongue weight, that's the force going down on top of the receiver. more

Today on our 2018 Infiniti QX60, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class Three Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76031. So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed on our Infiniti. The cross tube is gonna sit right below the bumper but the main thing we're gonna see is that receiver tube sticking out. Now, it's a class three hitch so it's gonna give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and have a lot of different options for accessories we can mount. All the way from a ball mount, bike rack, or a cargo carrier. The way we're gonna mount all of our accessories is through the hitch pin hole here in the side. more

It does have a nice round tube that goes all the way across, it does match the round contours of the vehicle. It does reach here and goes up into the frame, has a solid connection there as well. Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Infiniti QX70, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Curt Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13554. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed on our Infiniti. The cross tube is going to be visible. It's going to sit below the bumper, just right below the exhaust, but the main thing that's going to be sticking out of the back is going to be that 2" receiver tube opening. Since it is a Class III, it's going to have a really wide variety of accessories that are going to be available, all the way from bike rack, cargo carriers, or even ball mounts.Now, the way we're going to mount any of those accessories is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. As you can see, the cross tube's completely hidden so you're only gonna be able to see the receiver here at the end. It's gonna be a class 3, 2 inch x 2 inch receiver that's gonna be great for all of your towing needs, from trailers to bike racks, this'll do it all.It features plate style safety chain loops. Now it does have kind of a smaller opening, so you might have some difficulty with larger safety chains, but this one here's fairly large and it works just fine.It uses a 5/8 inch hitch pin and clip. It features a 600 pound tongue weight and that's the force going down on top the receiver and a 4000 pound gross towing capacity. more

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for a 2008 Infinity G35. Here we're gonna have two hitches available. Here we have your Draw-Tite, part number 24831, and here we're gonna have the Curt, part number 11499.Our Curt is gonna have a reinforced collar around our receiving tube, and our safety chain loops are gonna be just a little bit smaller, whereas your Draw-Tite, your safety chain loops are a little bit larger, however, it's not gonna have the reinforced collar. So when it comes to trimming, you can see that the Draw-Tite has a reinforced plate, which means you're gonna have to make your cut just a little bit wider, whereas your Curt can be a little bit smaller. Both these hitches are gonna have a half-inch hitch pin hole, however, your Curt is gonna give you a half-inch more clearance on the back of your vehicle, and the Curt will also give you a quarter-inch more ground clearance.Both these hitches are gonna be class ones. They're gonna be good for cargo carriers, bike racks, and light-duty towing. more

Best 2013 Infiniti JX35 Hitch Options- Video

Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2013 Infiniti JX35. There's two hitches we're going to be looking at today. The first one's going to be the CURT class three, part number C13126. The other one's going to be the Draw-Tite class three, part number 76031. The biggest difference that we're going to see between these two hitches is in the crosstube design. This CURT is going to allow it to be much more hidden because the crosstube's going to be tucked up behind the fascia, whereas with the Draw-Tite is going to be visible below that lower bumper. The next difference that I see most noticeable is going to be in the safety chain connection points. more
